Mexico.

is Heaven on Earth even if you hate chiles and this was a trip packed
with images that will last me for years, like sacks of
green Hatch chiles at every supermarket for about $10 a 35lb sack and
propane roasters outside to roast your purchase while you shop for the
boring stuff, like groceries.
Hatch claims to be the chile
capital of the world and has a web site to back up their claim.
Chimayo is a funky little village and has the
best peppers on earth. The crushed reds were so fresh that they were
sticky, not at all like the dried up packet stuff in the stores. Beware
of imitations and only buy the real thing.
